Winning Streak Hits 19 Years for Travers Collins & CompanyBUFFALO, N.Y., June 26, 2007 – Travers Collins & Company (TC&C) was victorious once again at the 19th Excalibur Awards, taking home the most total Excalibur Awards and most Gold Awards at the annual competition presented by the Buffalo/Niagara Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) on June 19. This marks the 19th straight year that the Buffalo-based firm has won the most awards. TC&C won 15 of the 46 Excalibur Awards that were bestowed, which recognize public relations programs and projects in the Buffalo Niagara region. This year's entries were judged by the Des Moines, Iowa PRSA chapter. "We’re very fortunate to do work for many outstanding clients," said William M. Collins, principal, Travers Collins & Company. "These awards reflect the fact that Travers Collins & Company is a truly integrated agency, as several of the winning entries utilized every single department of the firm. In 2008, TC&C has won the most awards at both the local public relations and advertising awards competitions, marking the fourth time the firm has accomplished this feat.
